The Wendy Brook Music Festival Association is a non-profit organization which hosts an annual adjudicated music and speech arts festival for all ages in March. Our festival de-emphasizes competition in favour of providing a supportive venue for performers of all ages. Adjudicators provide constructive comments and advice.
The Wendy Brook Music Festival provides an opportunity for our youth, and adults to develop their vocal and instrumental skills, confidence, audience appreciation skills, and love of the arts.
Entries include: Vocal (singing, choir, musical theatre), Piano, Strings, Instrumental (recorders, hand chimes, wind and brass instruments),
Speech Arts (choral, poetry, readings, public speaking, Reader’s Theatre, skits),
Ukrainian Language (vocal and speech).
Online registrations open January 13, 2026.
Registrations are due February 13, 2026.
The festival will take place from March 9 to 13, 2026.

Agriculture Program - HRA Groundbreakers
Agriculture Program - HRA Groundbreakers
Students in the Ag Program learn about local agriculture and plant a garden here at HRA. In the spring, students work the soil to prepare it for planting. They plant the seeds and seedlings, and then tend the plants and pull weeds. In the fall we harvest the garden produce and sell it, or process it in the freeze dryer for future sales. Local farmers and experts visit the class and present to students on various topics. Students will be able to sign up to take the agriculture class when option forms go out!
