Bussing

Students, within the attendance area (see map on this page), are eligible for busing. We have bus stops in Mundare, Vegreville, Tofield, Lindbrook, Ryley, Daysland, Viking, and Killam.

Transportation Fees: With increased funding from the province, HRA is able to provide transportation free of charge!

Inclement Weather/Road Conditions

Parents/guardians have the first decision as to whether or not to send their student(s) to school on days when weather conditions are a factor. On occasion, it may be unwise to operate bus routes due to the risks involved in transporting students as a result of weather/road conditions.

Generally, when temperatures or wind chill reach -40 degrees Celsius, morning buses will be canceled. If the temperature were to improve throughout the day, afternoon buses would still run.
